Today, local representative Jacob Young was seen volunteering at Redcar's new asymptomatic test site based at Redcar Leisure Centre.
The site opened up at the end of January to offer free test to people without symptoms. It is aimed at people who’re still having to work during the lockdown.
Testing is available between 8am-6.30pm, Monday-Friday.

Advertising the facility on his social media, Jacob stated: "A lot of transmission of the virus is passed by people who have no symptoms and therefore don’t realise they have it. That’s why this service is here for everyone."
The MP will continue to volunteer here once a week throughout the month of February.
