Out In Teesville

Out in Eston and Teesville today - chatting to folks about the much needed regeneration of Eston Square.

Great to meet so many people and hear about the issues that matter to them.

Your priorities are my priorities.

Private Members Bills

Usually I’m back up in Teesside on Fridays, but today I’m down in Parliament for Private Members Bills.

These are bills brought forward by backbenchers and some of these bills go on to become law.

Downing Street

In Downing Street again today - second time this week - to talk about priorities for Teesside in the upcoming budget.

We are still 100% focused on the Prime Minister’s missions to:

- Halve inflation

- Reduce the national debt

- Grow the economy

Speeding on Flatts Lane

SPEEDING ON FLATTS LANE in TS6

For years, local residents have been asking the Council to properly address the Speeding on Flatts Lane.

Unfortunately, the council's response to these requests hasn't been adequate.

Zelenskyy Visits Westminster

An extraordinary and historic speech by President Zelenskyy in Westminster Hall.

Our support for Ukraine is unwavering.

Crime Survey

Thank you to everyone who came and helped me today in Nunthorpe & Ormesby delivering my crime survey.

Was a lot of fun even despite the rain this morning.

Holocaust Memorial Day

This morning I laid flowers in the Garden of Remembrance as part of our efforts to commemorate the Holocaust in Redcar & Cleveland.

Holocaust Educational Trust’s Book of Commitment

Today, I signed the Holocaust Educational Trust’s Book of Commitment - pledging my support to Holocaust Memorial Day.

As part of the commemoration, tomorrow there will be a service at the Garden of Remembrance in Redcar at 10am.

Eston Square Update

I made a promise to sort out Eston Square. I will deliver on that promise.

We’ve had too many failed promises from politicians for the TS6 area. I won’t add my name to that list.
