Jacob Appointed Minister for Levelling Up

I am very proud to have been appointed Levelling Up Minister and join the great team at the Department for Levelling Up.

I’ll be working closely with Michael Gove (the Secretary of State) and others to ensure that the benefits of Levelling Up are felt right across the UK.

At the Armed Forces Breakfast Club in Redcar this morning.

This is a great initiative, helping ex-forces families in our area meet together and share experiences.

Ings Farm Bus Service

A BUS SERVICE RETURNS TO INGS FARM ESTATE

Great news today.

I’ve been working closely with Councillor Malcolm Head to get a Bus Service back to the Ings Farm Estate in Redcar after they lost theirs in the July timetable changes.

Lazenby Social Club Visit

Down at Lazenby social club with Councillor David Taylor, chatting to members of the committee about how to keep the club going.

They were quite frank with me that if the club isn’t able to raise funds over the next few months it’s likely that the club will fold.
