A bit of an emotional goodbye this morning to my friend Kathryn Stowers, the minister at the Salvation Army Eston, who is moving back to Wales.

Today is the RNLI Redcar Flag Day, where they’re raising money for the fantastic work that they do in our area.

Everyday, across the country, there are thousands of lifeboat men and women on call to go and save lives at sea - and in Redcar it’s no different.

Wow, Brilliant time at the first new Eston Market !

A huge turnout of people to come see what’s going on and loads of stall holders too.

Was great to chat to them and hear that this new market has been one of the most successful days for lots of them in a while…

Another fantastic Armed Forces day in Redcar, celebrating all the amazing work our service men and women do day in, day out - alongside the years of service given by our veterans and fallen friends.

Brill time at Ormesby Hall this morning for the Love Local event.

The volunteer team there put in a lot of effort to showcase our fantastic Hall and bring local market traders along too.

At James Cook today to congratulate some of the teams there on their fantastic news, that they received a GOOD rating from the Hospital Watchdog, the CQC.

I’m incredibly proud to be the only MP this constituency has ever had, who is a born and bred Teessider.
